They call me Kux, I live in Florida, and, while this came as quite a shock to me, it has come to my attention that a great number of people do NOT live in Florida.

I made this Deviant account as a means of extending my eyes on the internet. I browse around, leave comments, and say a few things about myself in the profile, but I really haven't put anything into this account. I'm not blessed with the ability to draw anything I'm not looking at, so drawing is out. I'm clumsy with MS paint, so that's kaput. I am, however, an up and coming con-goer (hoping to be a conventionado of sorts), so I do enjoy running around and shooting people with a camera.....I probably could have phrased that better, but let's stick to the point for now.

The only convention I've frequented to date is the yearly JACON in southern Orlando. Early this month I went down each day for three days of anime watching, dealer browsing, costume oooh and ahhh, and of course, random photography. I got quite a few shots, and it seems a shame to limit the places I share them, so without further to do:

The shots I took at JACON 07. I should mention these aren't of the best quality. This was my first year playing with my new camera, so I'm a novice at this photography thing. Still, the costumes were great, so I couldn't bring myself to pitch any of the shots I took. AFO is just a few months away, and I hope to get some better shots there before I move onto this whole costume business, but more on that another time.
